Circles | Sold at various locations | Circles is known for its city-wide summer pop-ups + seasonal concoctions. Pro tip: Try the Coffee Cake Crumble — Circles partnered with Tinker Coffee Company to bring you coffee ice cream featuring single-origin coffee with a buttery streusel topping.

New Age | 1325 Shelby St. | You + your furry friend can enjoy a paw-fect treat together at this pet-friendly and vegan-friendly shop. We recommend a peanut butter pet pop for them and a scoop of decadent chocolate Oreo for you.

BRICS | 901 E. 64 St. | Broad Ripple Ice Cream Station just celebrated its 15th anniversary, offering 32 dairy flavors + eight vegan options. Pro tip: Enjoy the “Whistlestop Wakeup” outside on the deck while you take in the sights and sounds of the Monon.

Howdy Homemade Ice Cream Shop | 370 N. New Jersey St. | This shop located just off Mass Ave next to Needler’s Fresh Market prides itself on providing employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. We’re eyeing the lychee flavor on the summer menu.

LiftOff Creamery | Various locations | This aviation-themed ice cream shop features a wide variety of flavors — including gluten-free, vegan, and sorbet options, ensuring that there’s something for everyone.

Lick | 906 Carrollton Ave., Ste. 360 | Ever wanted to try gorgonzola candied pecan ice cream? What about rosewater pistachio brittle? This one is for the adventurous eaters that won’t shy away from an ice cream experience that will have your taste buds doing the tango. Can’t decide on a flavor? Try an ice cream flight.

Square Scoop | 1028 Virginia Ave. | Located in the heart of Fountain Square, Square Scoop prides itself on its locally-made, hand-dipped ice cream, shakes, and sundaes. Want to sprinkle in some extra nostalgia? Check out its wide selection of old fashioned candies + sodas.

Nicey Treat | Various locations | Ranked the No. 1 ice cream shop in Indiana by Travel and Leisure, Nicey Treat’s popsicles look as good as they taste. It also launched a new summer drink menu that we’re melting over.

Chris’ Ice Cream | 1484 E. 86th St. | Mexican food + ice cream? Talk about a dream combo. This restaurant is so beloved by locals and tourists alike that it’s appeared on the national top 100 on Yelp several times.
