This is s’more than a feeling. S’mores are typically associated with bonfires in the fall, but in Indy, you can have different takes on this campfire treat year-round.
Here are some local spins on s’mores as we celebrate National S’mores Day today, Aug. 10.
Hotel Tango Distillery | The distillery’s ‘Shmallow Toasted Marshmallow Bourbon — a bourbon whiskey boasting notes of toasted marshmallows, caramelized sugar, smoke, and camaraderie — is back as we gear up for fall.
You can find S’morecicles pop up at local events around town.

S’morecicles | We told you about this local business on wheels in our mobile business guide. We can’t get enough of the frozen s’mores on a stick. City Editor Nicole’s favorites are the S’moreo + S’morefetti.
Circles Ice Cream | The local ice cream served by the pint is back with its Campfire S’mores flavor. This is a graham cracker ice cream layered with gooey chocolate ganache, torched marshmallow fluff, and smoked graham cracker crumbles. You can find it in grab + go freezers around Indy.
Indiana State Fair | This year’s State Fair food lineup includes Gimme S’more Bourbon Shake (feat. Hotel Tango’s Shmallow Bourbon) and a S’mores Funnel Cake. Don’t miss out — the State Fair runs through Sunday, Aug. 20.
When City Editor Nicole saw this latte on the drink menu, she had to order it.
