    🏗️ Development? For spring? Groundbreaking

The temps aren’t the only things rising around Indy. A handful of major construction projects we’ve been watching for years have sprung up quickly and are making huge springtime progress. Here’s what to keep an eye out for.

IU Health hospital: The brand new hospital near Capitol Avenue and 16th Street is taking shape, with full completion slated for the end of 2027. In the meantime, keep up with current road and sidewalk closures.

Bottleworks District phase two: Tenant buildout on the upper floors is likely completed, with tenants yet to be announced. The grand opening is still expected in 2024. If you want to take your own peek at the progress, the upcoming Bottleworks Market on Saturday, May 18 is a great excuse to stop by.

16 Tech Bridge: This bridge, the first of its kind in Marion County to give majority share to non-vehicles, saw the recent addition of its signature waves. The structure is expected to open to traffic this summer.

    The Buy

Lume Acidified Body Wash, which is supposed to remove odor better than soap thanks to its key ingredient: mandelic acid. Choose from scents like clean tangerine or go unscented for sensitive skin types.

Last week, I took a quick trip out of town with my baby, and in spite of all my fears she did so well on her first flight. It helps that I boarded the plane fully prepared for a restful trip, thanks to this list of in-flight essentials. I’ve sworn by the trtl pillow for years and will never go back to a traditional neck pillow.
