The Bottleworks District, situated at the north end of Mass Avenue, has become an Indianapolis landmark.

Don’t believe us? The aging landmark that was brought back to life as a mixed-use district was named among the “Best Places to Go in 2021" by Conde Nast Traveler and earned coverage from Forbes.

Bottleworks turned into a destination that has it all when it comes to eat, sleep, and play — from The Garage Food Hall to Bottleworks Hotel — but it’s not done yet. There’s more coming soon to the district + if you’ve visited the area recently, the construction is hard to miss.

We’re breaking down Phase II of the Bottleworks District and what you can expect when the work is done.

By the numbers

The developer for the Bottleworks District is spending $100 million on this next phase of the mixed-use district.

The 250,000-sqft expansion will encompass 20+ acres of land from Mass Avenue to 9th Street and will include:

  • 182,000 sqft of new office space
  • 38,000 sqft of retail + restaurant space
  • 260 additional parking spaces

This new section of the district is expected to have a modern, sophisticated look with classic materials and style. The buildings will feature masonry, steel, and oversized warehouse windows with views of the Indianapolis skyline + retail space will have high visibility, flexible floorplans, high ceilings, plus outdoor patio and dining opportunities.

Tenant space is available. Businesses that are interested in lease space at Bottleworks can reach out online.

Construction of Phase II will be completed in sections, with openings expected in 2024 and 2025.
