Ever wonder how your favorite Indiana foods, drinks, cosmetics, and housewares are made?

Wonder no longer with a nearby factory or farm tour. Here are a few tours in central Indiana and beyond to add to your bucket list.

Sun King Brewery | Indianapolis | $15+ | Stop by Indy’s biggest brewery on a Saturday afternoon for a tour of the main brewing facility + beer sampling. Pro tip: For an extra $10, you can get a look at the barrel-aging facility and two samples from the King’s Reserve selection.

Traders Point Creamery | Zionsville | $5+ | Take a 1.5-mile self-guided hike through the farm’s pastures, observing the livestock and native flora. Pro tip: If you want a guide to take you into the chef’s garden, milking parlor, newborn calf nursery, and more, you can book a private group tour.

Hunter’s Honey Farm | Martinsville | $5+ | Choose from a handful of tours that allow you to bottle your own honey, dip your own candle, work a live hive with a beekeeper, explore the forest, or take a hayride around the farm.

Oliver Winery | Bloomington | $15+ | Groups of six people (minors and designated drivers are welcome) will learn what it takes to go from vine to wine with a full production tour. Tastings are included for adults 21+, and guests will get a complimentary stemmed logo wine glass to take home.

Hard Truth Distilling Co. | Nashville | $20 | The beloved Indiana distillery offers a handful of 21+ tours, from an ATV adventure across the campus to a tiki mixology class on a hidden beach. All tours include tastings, of course.

Kokomo Opalescent Glass Co. | Kokomo | $6 | This business has been manufacturing art glass in the same building since 1888. Watch as the team create suncatchers, paperweights, pendant lights, custom windows, and more — but be advised the factory is not climate-controlled.

Annie Oakley Perfumery | Ligonier | $5 | This business says it’s the only perfumery in the US that hand-blends and bottles its own fragrances. At the end of your tour, you’ll have the chance to create your own scent too.

South Bend Chocolate Company | South Bend | $18+ | Go behind the scenes of this 58,000-sqft factory, no creepy chocolate river boat ride needed — plus check out its Chocolate Museum, which houses one of the largest collections of chocolate memorabilia in the world.

DeBrand Fine Chocolates | Fort Wayne | $10 | Two chocolate tours are better than one. No reservations are required to explore this chocolatier’s production facility and taste gourmet chocolates along the way — just make sure you check the schedule and arrive on time.
