Closed
  • The downtown Gallery Bistro & Bar at 110 S. Pennsylvania St. has closed, citing constant sales swings. Gallery Pastry Shop and Gallery on 16th remain open, and the owner reports no downtown staff members lost their jobs and were instead reemployed at the other locations. (IBJ)
Traffic
  • Talk about a detour. DPW announced that reconstruction of the West Washington Street Bridge could be delayed for another year because the internal structure is in worse shape than expected. It now aims to wrap construction by summer of 2025. (WTHR)
Community
  • Last week, Indy Parks broke ground on a $3.5 million improvement project at Washington Park. It will add an updated playground, new splash pad, shelter, event lawn, and parking lot. The project is expected to be completed in summer 2025. (Mirror Indy)
