Mayor Hogsett’s hopes for a MLS expansion team have hit another roadblock. Indy Eleven partial owner Chuck Surack bought the La Quinta Inn adjacent to the downtown heliport site, potentially preventing demolition + redevelopment for a stadium as initially planned. (IBJ)
Traffic
INDOT is rolling out its construction plan for the I-465 interchange for US 31 in Carmel. The project includes a modification to the interchange to increase capacity, efficiency, and safety. There will be a public meeting at the Drury Plaza Hotel (9625 N. Meridian St.) on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. (WISH)
