News Notes

Drink

This morning, the Damien Center is celebrating the grand opening of Cafe Oztara, a 4,000+ sqft coffee shop designed to be a sanctuary + gathering space for all. It will serve locally-sourced coffee, espresso, tea, and smoothies, plus breakfast and lunch items.

Opening

Bubbakoo’s Burritos, a New Jersey-based chain known for creating burritos with unconventional flavor combinations, is scheduled to open in the Clearwater Crossing retail center at 3826 E. 82nd St. on Tuesday, Feb. 11. It will be the restaurant’s first location in Indiana. (IBJ)

Development

A local developer is planning to build a $30 million project near Fishers Event Center to add more restaurants + retail to the booming Fishers District area. Construction is expected to begin this summer with buildings opening by mid-2026. (IBJ)
