Pacers Sports & Entertainment announced that WNBA All-Star Weekend festivities in Indianapolis will include a “Fever Fest” concert at Everwise Amphitheater. The show will feature three hours of live music + comedy on Saturday, July 19, leading up to the All-Star Game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse that night. (IBJ)

The US Treasury Department has placed its last order for penny blanks and announced plans to stop making the one-cent coin. Production is expected to end in early 2026 for the coin first minted in 1793, making the penny older than the city of Indianapolis. (Newsweek)

Yes ‘Cers. We’re hyped up about the Pacers’ run this season — and what better way to show our Pacers pride than with a photo op in front of a mural repping the best basketball team in the East?
A new mural recently popped up for the Eastern Conference Finals in Fountain Square, and City Editor Nicole had to snap a picture of it. If you haven’t heard the viral song “WTHELLY” by ROB49 — just watch this and you’ll get it.
