Pier 48 Fish House & Oyster Bar announced it closed its doors at 130 S. Pennsylvania St., citing Shinola Hotel construction woes. But dry those saltwatery tears — the owners will be operating a pop-up at George’s Neighborhood Grill while building a new permanent home on the northwest side. (IBJ)

After high E. coli levels in the water closed the waterfront for several days, Eagle Creek Park Beach has safely reopened for recreation. If you’re still wary, there are plenty of other spots to swim. (WTHR)
