Have you ever wondered what would happen if you walked in a straight line around the world from Indy? Wonder no longer, wanderer.
Let us introduce you to LatLon Connect, an online tool that allows users to explore cities across the world that share the same latitude and longitude.
What we found
In our search, we stuck with the default settings, looking for places with 100,000+ people with a buffer zone of 6.21 miles (that’s 10 kilometers).
Dozens of results popped up, with the most populated city lying ~2,000 miles away: Managua, the capital city of Nicaragua, pictured above. Around 1.1 million people call it home.

Development
Plans for the Indiana Fever’s new $78 million training facility are coming into focus. The team has released renderings of the 108,000-sqft property, currently under construction in downtown Indy, featuring lavish training spaces, state-of-the-art equipment, and — presumably to golf fan Caitlin Clark’s delight — a golf simulator.
Outdoors
Movie Night is returning to White River State Park. On the third Thursday of the month, May-September, you can catch a flick set against the Indianapolis skyline. Set your calendars for Thursday, April 23 — that’s when the movie list will be released for the season.

With the upcoming launch of the MICHELIN Guide American Great Lakes edition, we can’t wait to see which Indy restaurants make the cut. Let us know which spots you want to see included, and we’ll round up your suggestions so we can give them inspo.

The Artemis II mission is expected to come to an end today, with the astronauts splashing down off the coast of California around 8 p.m. tonight. If it has inspired some cosmic wanderlust, this map will help you find a spot to gaze at the skies with less light pollution impacting your view.
Ranked
Indiana clocked in at No. 33 on a new WalletHub ranking of the best states for working from home. The report weighed factors like internet costs, home size, and cybersecurity, but we’d argue there’s one more metric that matters: great outdoor work spots. Luckily, Indianapolis delivers.
Today Is
National Hug Your Dog Day, because you need another excuse to spoil your pup. It’s easy to show them a good time at Indy’s dog-friendly spots.
Pets
No pet? No worries. Puppy Playground’s first-annual Bark Party will have adoptable buddies, food + beer, games, and good vibes on Saturday, May 2. Warning — it may be difficult to come home without one.

Who’s enjoying the Masters? The 90th edition started yesterday and runs through the weekend.
Once you’ve had enough of watching the action, you can get involved yourself at these Indianapolis courses:
Brickyard Crossing | 4400 W. 16th St.
If you’re a golfer + a race fan, you have to practice your swing at this classic course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with views of the Pagoda.
Coffin Golf Course | 2401 Cold Spring Rd.
This course was redesigned in 1995 + offers 18 holes in a tree-lined setting along the White River.
The Fort Golf Resort | 6002 N. Post Rd.
The Fort offers rolling terrain and breathtaking views, earning it recognition as the No. 1 golf course layout in the US by GolfPass in 2018.
Pleasant Run Golf Course | 601 N. Arlington Ave.
Pleasant Run has a good layout and is a great example of an older city course. It has some interesting holes, gently rolling terrain, tree-lined fairways, and a creek that makes this course a city favorite.

It has been a rough season for the Pacers, but there is hope for the future. Tyrese Haliburton is expected to return from injury next season, and this year’s struggles have hopefully given the younger players a chance to learn, grow, and mature.
With that said, this weekend is the last chance to catch a game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse before the off-season. Pssst — tickets are cheap.
