Van’s Family Asian Grocery is off of Southport and Bluff roads on the south side of Indy.

Whether you’re crafting an exorbitant seven-course Chinese Thanksgiving dinner, looking to broaden your culinary horizons, or searching for an ingredient that tastes like home — we hope this guide to international markets helps you map out a delicious meal.

Saraga International Grocery, 3605 Commerical Dr. + 2308 E. Stop 11 Rd.

This international grocery store opened its first Indianapolis location in November 2005. Saraga means “living” in Korean, and its mission is to provide diverse food and goods to accommodate the people in its community. If you can’t find it at Saraga, you probably won’t find it anywhere else.

La Cieba Food Market, 502 N. Rural St.

This new Latinx/Hispanic grocery store that opened back in September on the city’s near east side carries Goya food products, meats, and produce.

Van’s Family Asian Grocery, 1345 W. Southport Rd., Ste. 7

At this family-owned Asian grocery store on the south side, you’ll find a lot of fresh greens, produce, and Asian pastries. Pro tip: Make sure to bring cash if you’re going to be spending less than $10.

Asia Mart, 6103 E. 86th St.

You can find all the best imported Asian brands from snacks to drinks to sauces at this Castleton market . It also carries a wide variety of produce, meat, and ingredients from several Asian countries at reasonable prices.

Mi Gente International Grocery, 3456 Shadeland Ave.

Find fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, live seafood, and other goods from around the world at this grocery store on the east side.
