Every time we look around, it seems like something new is popping up in Indy. Whether you’re looking for your next go-to brunch destination or a new public park to stretch your legs, we’re rounding up a few things coming soon to the Circle City this quarter.
Dining
Open Kitchen, 4022 Shelby St. | Opening Friday, March 10 | The Little Flower eatery is moving into the former Jailbird’s spot near UIndy’s campus and will go from a small 15-person dining room to a 2,000-sqft building.
Big Bear Biscuits, Brownsburg | Opening Friday, Feb. 3 | The homey biscuits and brunch spot is expanding out west with its second location.
Daisy Bar, Mass Ave. | Opening late 2023 | La Margarita plans to open this companion restaurant that will feature dishes like birria, short rib, burgers, and house made sauces.
Georgia Street Rhythm & Blues Lounge, 28 W. Georgia St. | Opening early 2023 | The new blues-themed eatery is moving into the former Burger Study space at Circle Centre Mall and plans to offer Caribbean soul food, live music, and drinks.
Antilogy, 5867 N. SR 135, Greenwood | Opening early 2023 | A new brunch, wine, and bourbon spot is coming to the Center Grove area with the brunch menu offering a range of breakfast and lunch classics.
Recreation
Broad Ripple Park Family Center, 1426 Broad Ripple Park Ave. | Opening Saturday, Jan. 21 | This new facility at Broad Ripple Park will offer an upgraded fitness area, an indoor track, a children’s play area, and a health clinic operated by Community Health Network.
Retail
The Whispering Shelf, Address TBD | Opening fall 2023 | A local new and used bookseller is opening up a brick and mortar store in Lockerbie Square — and you might recognize it from its pop-ups around the city.
Tomorrow Bookstore, 882 Mass Ave. | Opening spring 2023 | A new independent bookstore is planning to open downtown and is currently crowdfunding to make it happen.
Wild Feathers, 906 Carrollton Ave. | Opening in 2023 | The local women’s clothing boutique is opening a storefront in The Garage at Bottleworks — and you may recognize it from its recent pop-ups in The Garage next to Yamallama Deli.
ZURRI Boutique, 838 N. Delaware St. | Opening Wednesday, Feb. 1 | This locally-owned contemporary women’s boutique left its location inside the Circle Centre Mall and will be relocating to a more intimate space downtown with free parking.

Tea’s Me Cafe, Illinois Fall Creek Center: Bowen Commons, 2535 N. Capitol Ave. | Opened Tuesday, Jan. 17 | The cafe owned by basketball Hall of Famer Tamika Catchings expanded with a new location in the Ivy Tech campus will serve on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Jinya Ramen Bar, 9711 E. 116th St. | Opened December 2022 | This is the chain’s first Indiana location, featuring ramen, small plates, and craft beer.
Mochi Dough, 110 W. Main St., Carmel | Opened December 2022 | This north side spot specializes in handcrafted boba teas and mochi donuts.
Eating Fresh, 6255 N. College Ave. | Opened October 2022 | This modern style Vietnamese restaurant next to The Vogue in Broad Ripple is serving up pho, bahn mi, and other traditional dishes using locally grown produce.
Garden Table, 350 Monon Blvd., Ste. 16, Carmel | Opened December 2022 | This local eatery and juicery with two Indianapolis locations is now open in Carmel’s Midtown area and you can stop in for brunch or dinner.

Circle City Curling Club, 1735 W. 53rd St., Unit 3A, Anderson | Opened January 15, 2023 | The nonprofit founded in 2007 opened its first curling-only facility that offers curling clinics to learn how to play and leagues to join.
PickUp USA Fitness, 15375 Herriman Blvd., Noblesville | Opened November 2022 | PickUp USA Fitness is a 18,000-sqft gym featuring two NBA-sized basketball courts, one half-court, a 4,000-sqft weight room, and cardio and training rooms.
Rumble Boxing, 4825 E. 82nd St. | Opened December, 2022 | Here you can get a 45-minute, 10-round, full-body strength and conditioning style workout. This is the fitness chain’s first Indy location.
Retail
Saraga Castleton, 8848 Center Run Dr. | Opened December 2022 | This is the international grocery store’s third location and it features an onsite bakery and small food court area.
Nap or Nothing, 525 Mass Ave. | Opened December 2022 | Nap or Nothing is an Indiana-based clothing brand that sells items like hoodies and shirts with a variety of graphic designs and colors to suit different tastes.
Mystery Fun Club, 1102 Prospect St. | Opened October 2022 | This art supply store in Fountain Square saw a gap in the market and ran with it. Now, it’s providing a destination to get all of your paints, brushes, pens, and pads.
