Visit Indy “State of Tourism” touts an epic 2024

During Visit Indy’s “State of Tourism” event, it celebrated all of the big things happening in Indianapolis in 2024 — and it’s expected to be a transformative year.

The redevelopment of Pan Am Plaza has already begun bringing in more big event contracts for the city.

“We’re about to embark on a slam dunk, out-of-this-world, extraordinary, one-for-the-eras type of year,” said Visit Indy’s Morgan Snyder during its State of Tourism event.

From the NBA All-Star Weekend , to three nights with Taylor Swift, to the once-in-a-lifetime Total Solar Eclipse , to the US Olympic Swimming Trials , the city is buzzing with excitement — and there’s never been a better time to #LoveIndy.

This year is expected to be transformative for Indianapolis tourism, with 500+ conventions and events, including:
