There’s no better way to celebrate National Dog Day than by visiting all of our favorite local dog-friendly places with our pups. Help City Editor Nicole choose the adventure she’s going to take her dog Indy on.

We’re raising the woof because Monday, Aug. 26 is National Dog Day. Here at INDYtoday we love our furry friends and our city so much that City Editor Nicole named her dog Indy.

On a day dedicated to our precious pups, it only feels right to treat them to the best day in the Circle City.

Indy may not have landed on Forbes’ list of best cities in the US for dogs, but we beg to differ. There are still lots of places around the city that will welcome your furry friend with open paws.

We want your help deciding where we should take Indy to celebrate National Dog Day around town using some spots we’ve narrowed down from our dog-friendly guide.
