Lights, camera, action: The 33rd annual Heartland International Film Festival returns Thursday, Oct. 10-Sunday, Oct. 20.

Ranked among the 25 coolest film festivals worldwide, this 11-day celebration features 110+ independent films across various genres — from local flicks to blockbuster sneak peeks and world premieres.
