One of the nation’s biggest cycling events for racers, spectators, and casual riders is hitting the streets of downtown Indy Friday, Aug. 25-Saturday, Aug. 26.

A weekend of high-level racing, a community ride, and family activities kicks off Friday at 3 p.m. with the Mass Ave Crit, which includes two corners greater than 90 degrees, making it technically difficult + fun to watch.

Then on Saturday starting at 8 a.m., the Honor Major Taylor Fondo — a ride for everyone — includes courses that are 14, 30, and 62 miles, plus a five-mile family ride on the Cultural Trail starting at 10 a.m. Register online to join the ride.

Take part in the Indy Crit or Kids Race, plus cycling and fitness activities, food trucks, and drinks for all ages. On Saturday at 3 p.m., kids ages 3-12 can participate in the Kids Race. Register .
