Got a sweet tooth? You’re in luck. A New York City-based restaurant + candy store chain is making its way to downtown Indianapolis in spring 2022.

Sugar Factory American Brasserie is known for its over-the-top sweet treats, colorful decor + big celebrity following.

If you’ve been by the Circle Centre Mall recently, you’ve probably seen the banners of celebrities like Mariah Carey + Kylie Jenner posing with crazy desserts.

The shop serves up more than 500 types of sweet treats — like milkshakes as big as your head, a sundae that includes 24 scoops of ice cream, and a smoking candy goblet cocktail.

For those that like to pair sweet with savory, there are also dishes like burgers + sandwiches on the menu.

There’s no sugarcoating it. You’re going to see lots of people glued to their phones because the shop will have no shortage of Instagram-worthy photo ops with floor-to-ceiling candy walls + neon signs.

Sugar Factory is moving into the former Palomino space at 49 W. Maryland St. — which has been vacant since the restaurant closed in July 2019.

When the sweet shop opens in Indy, its hours will be from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Mon.-Thurs. + will be open late on Fri. + Sat.

Sugar Factory has 21 locations across the country — the closest one being Chicago, until now.
