Picture this: Your college dorm room transformed into... a boutique hotel?

As unlikely as it may seem, that’s exactly what’s happening to the historic Ross Hall, a student residence building at Butler University that opened in 1954 and closed in 2019. The university announced it’s teaming up with Hilton to restore + transform the hall into a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel.

The hotel will consist of 105 rooms and suites, a signature restaurant, and meeting spaces. We assume the hotel staff will not include RAs.

The hotel will be the first Curio property on a college campus, and the first in Indiana. It’s expected to open during the 2026-2027 academic year for any Indy visitors to book a stay.
