Pacers Bikeshare celebrates 10 years by adding e-bikes

Can you believe it? Pacers Bikeshare has been along the Indianapolis Cultural Trail for 10 years now, and it’s keeping up with the times by adding e-bikes to the mix.

Since 2014, the Pacers Bikeshare program has offset 1,801,845 pounds of carbon emissions.

Earth Day marked the 10th anniversary of Pacers Bikeshare . On April 22, 2014, the Indianapolis Cultural Trail launched Pacers Bikeshare with 250 bikes and 25 stations along the trail.

Currently, Pacers Bikeshare comprises of 50 stations from Garfield Park to Broad Ripple. On Thursday, May 9, it will add 350 e-bikes to the mix.

If you’ve never used this bikeshare service, maybe this is your sign. Pacers Bikeshare is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year + bikes are available at any of the 50 stations through the BCycle mobile app. Pass options include “Pay as You Ride” and annual passes.
