In case you missed it, the Performance Racing Industry trade show — the largest gathering of motorsports professionals in the world — is in town now through Saturday, Dec. 10 and it’s helping Indy tourism end the year on a high note.

The PRI trade show is bringing an expected 50,000 visitors into the city. And that’s not all.

This month alone, the city of Indianapolis will have played host to 15 conventions and events, marked by 70,000+ visitors for the Big Ten Football Championship game on one end and 15,000 youth for Intervarsity Urbana to wrap up the month.

According to data from Visit Indy, hotels have made a near total recovery since the pandemic and money generated by visitors has increased by $83 million.

The PRI trade show is committed to return to Indianapolis for six more years and it just established its new membership headquarters in Speedway back in May of this year.
