Initial plans, which included Lafayette Square Mall in the “Window to the World” redevelopment plan, have shifted to transform the former mall into a reimagined multi-million dollar destination called “The Square.”
Develop Indy, the city, and the Indianapolis Airport Authority have released a plan to revitalize more than 800 acres on the west side in what it calls “big moves” for the corridor and its community.
While Indy’s most recognizable mall has seen better days since opening in 1995, an exciting redevelopment that promises to revitalize the area is just around the corner.
