  • Metazoa Brewing Co., 140 S. College Ave. | This local craft brewery has a pet-friendly taproom, a patio space with tables, and a dog park with a nice skyline view. It also donates 5% of its profits to animal and wildlife organizations.
  • Fountain Square Brewing Co., 1301 Barth Ave. | The brewery tucked away in a quiet, residential neighborhood on the southeast side has an industrial-style taproom with a laid-back atmosphere for you and your pooch to enjoy.
  • West Fork Whiskey, 1660 Bellefontaine St. | This local whiskey tasting room is a must-try in the Kennedy-King neighborhood. Bring along your dog to experience tours, tasting flights, and seasonal hand-crafted cocktails in an industrial-chic setting.
  • Hotel Tango Distillery, 702 Virginia Ave. | This veteran-owned distillery’s dog-friendly tasting room is located in the Fletcher Place neighborhood + serves craft cocktails made exclusively with their spirits.

  • Flatwater Restaurant, 832 E. Westfield Blvd. | With a large patio deck overlooking the Broad Ripple canal, this restaurant is a good place to kick back and relax with your furry friend.
  • Fire by the Monon, 6523 Ferguson St. | This charming red building tucked away in the Broad Ripple neighborhood prepares entrees over an open flame using indigenous hardwoods and fruitwood. While you wait to eat your fish tacos or juicy burger, your pup will get its own snacks and bowl of water.

  • Cafe Patachou, 4901 N. Pennsylvania St. | Cafe Patachou is a beloved neighborhood restaurant in Meridian-Kessler that welcomes everyone and is a perfect stop to grab a bite with your pet during your morning walk.
  • Petite Chou, 823 E. Westfield Blvd. | This French-inspired restaurant offers a champagne bar and classic bistro fare. You won’t have to let your dog lick the plate here because each visiting pup gets a menu of doggy treat options to choose from.
  • Ralston’s Drafthouse, 635 Mass Ave. | One of the best pet-friendly restaurants in the Mass Ave. area, Ralston’s provides outdoor patio space perfect for people watching or dog watching and offers a long list of food and drink options.

  • Pins Mechanical Co., 856 Carrollton Ave. | Knock some duckpins, play some games, and grab a drink with the company of your furry friend. Pins has a pup-friendly atmosphere + allows leashed dogs inside on both levels.
  • City Dogs Grocery, 1028 Virginia Ave. | Bring your dog to pick out some new treats and toys at this locally-owned pet boutique store that focuses on health and wellness.
  • Three Dogs Bakery, Mass Ave. + Broad Ripple | The world’s first bakery for dogs opened in 1989 and specializes in all-natural treats made from scratch for healthier, happier pets.
  • Monon 30, 1118 E. 30th St. | This mixed-use development at the intersection of 30th Street and the Monon Trail has a seasonal dog park for your furry friends that is open on Sundays from 12 to 6 p.m. with a drink and snack bar.

Hotels

  • Bottleworks Hotel, 850 Mass Ave., Ste. 100 | Bottleworks is pet-friendly and will pamper your pooch with dog bowls, a custom-made sweet treat, and a placemat from local City Dogs Grocery. Read the pet policy.
  • Ironworks Hotel, 2721 E. 86th St. | Let the staff at Ironworks know in advance that you’re bringing a furry friend and they’ll have dog bowls, an Ironworks-branded mat, and a custom cookie waiting to welcome your pet to their room. The pet fee is $20 plus tax. Check out the pet policy.
  • The Alexander, 333 S. Delaware St. | The Alexander welcomes four-legged friends (two dogs up to 75 lbs) for a $50 one-time, non-refundable fee per dog. Dogs must not be left unattended and additional fees may apply for damages or the requirement of deep cleaning.

Parks

  • Broad Ripple Dog Park, 1426 Broad Ripple Ave. | This is a great place for dogs to get off the leash, run around, and socialize. The fee for the dog park is $75 yearly for one dog or $112.50 for two dogs.
  • Paul Ruster Park, 1313 S. Post Rd. | A large portion of this park is a dog park area featuring two large fenced-in areas with benches, dog ramps, and jump bars. The park also has large wooded areas with a couple of trails for casual hiking or a walk with the pooch. This dog park is part of Marion County’s “Pooch pass.”
  • The Dog Park at Immanuel, 382 Prospect St. | This dog park has been open since October 2020 and is the first of its kind — it’s volunteer-run and was created in partnership by neighbors and Immanuel United Church of Christ, with support from local businesses. There is a $50 yearly fee.
  • Smock Dog Park, ⁠451 E. Stop 11 Rd. | Smock Bark Park is located next to Smock Golf Course. A Pooch Pass is required for entry and a fee is charged for each dog.
  • Gordon Gilmer Canine Companion Zone, 5855 N. High School Rd. | The is one of the city’s paw-some bark parks, and is a favorite place for dogs and humans at Eagle Creek Park.
