Celebrate the power of independent cinema at the 34th Heartland International Film Festival — presented by Alamo Drafthouse Cinema at The Square.

From Thursday, Oct. 9 to Sunday, Oct. 19, dial into 11 days of world-class storytelling featuring 100+ independent films from around the world, plus nine Indiana Spotlight films celebrating local talent and stories.

Recognized by MovieMaker Magazine as one of the Top 25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World for two consecutive years, Heartland Film gives you exclusive access to filmmaker Q+As, behind-the-scenes insights, and advance screenings of major Hollywood titles. Special Presentation titles include:

  • “The Rental Family,” starring Brendan Fraser
  • “Good Fortune,” featuring Seth Rogen, Sandra Oh, Keanu Reeves, and more
