Regular fountain soda is so 2025. One of the latest culinary crazes sweeping the nation is dirty soda: Your favorite pop spiced up with creamers, syrups, and fruit purees for a creative alternative to cocktails or coffee drinks.

Thanks to the popularity generated by “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” you may be familiar with Swig, which entered the Indy market in 2024. But if you’d rather support local — like us — here are a few small businesses serving up delicious dirty soda confections.

Fizz’n | 8901 Southeastern Ave.
This shop, owned by a family from Franklin Township, maintains a massive menu of 100+ drinks (yes, we counted). It opened in November 2025 as not just a soda shop, but a place for kids + families to hang out.

Twisters | Various locations
Twisters began as a simple lemonade stand and now has locations in Noblesville, Pendleton, Muncie, and Yorktown. It’s known for its “fluffy sodas” with fun local names like “The Irsay Girls” and “What the Hali,” but it also serves snacks like candy salad, cookies, and pretzel bites. Pro tip: The team also concocts a new “Drink of the Week” every week, and members of its VIP club get 50% off.

Zo-Bot’s Sodas and Fries | Food truck
Established in 2021, Indiana’s first dirty soda shop currently operates out of a food truck you can find at farmer’s markets in warmer weather months. But good news: You’ll soon be able to enjoy its delectable drinks, seasoned fries, and funnel cake fries yearround when it opens its first storefront and drive thru in Avon.

Hoosier Soda Co. | Mobile bar
You can hire this Greenwood-based business to serve up Indiana-themed drinks at your event, like the “Indy 500" and the “Blue and Gold.” We think it’d be an awesome addition to an alcohol-free wedding.
