We’re asking fore a friend — when was the last time you hit the links? The mini ones, that is?

Whether you need to entertain the kids, take someone on a date, or test your skills, here are six mini-golf courses where you can tee off.

Pete and Alice Dye Golf Experience, 3000 N. Meridian St. | From early spring through late fall, the nine-hole courses outside the Children’s Museum serve up a grand slam experience for everyone from toddler golfers to pros. Fun fact: On two of the courses, the holes are actually miniature replicas of the Dye’s most famous designs from around the world.

Rustic Golf, 5955 Terrace Ave. | Get a birdie among the birds. This 27-hole outdoor course offers “true mini-golf, not putt putt” with natural grass, trees, and landscaping.

Birdies, 632 E. State Rd. 32, Westfield | Pregame before you hit the course with classic bar + grill food — or force your friends to buy you a “Celebration Cake” to mark your victory. Either way, unless there’s a major storm, this outdoor course stays open 12 hours a day.

Royal Pin Woodland, 3421 E. 96th St. | You can easily spend an afternoon on two pirate-themed courses here, with plenty of water features to conquer. If you still feel a competitive itch afterward, head inside for laser tag, bowling, or classic arr-cade games.

Combat Ops, 4650 E. Southport Rd. | Head indoors for buckets of fun including Nerf tag, axe throwing, VR experiences — and of course, a nine-hole glow-in-the-dark mini-golf course with a nuclear meltdown theme.

Bowl 32, 845 Westfield Rd., Noblesville | This dinomite indoor prehistoric-themed glow-in-the-dark course pairs perfectly with a game of bowling or laser tag.
