Pull out your headphones, because we’re sharing 2 new Indy podcasts highlighting the city + its residents. 🎧

Circle City Chatter

Hosted by Shay McCoy of @CityofShay + Andrea Jones, a wedding planner and boutique owner, these two local ladies are all about connecting Indy to Indy through telling the stories of the small businesses you know and love.

Recent episodes:

  • Martha Latta, Stomping Ground | To help get you in the spring spirit, this quaint shop is home to house plants, floral arrangements, t-shirts, local gifts, and more. Hear about her journey to becoming a house store for house plants in Windsor Park, and the importance of community to her and her business.
  • Dan and Jamie Fahrner, Hi & Mighty | Listen in high spirits as Dan and Jamie chat about their brand new distillery Hi & Mighty, which is opening soon at the state fairgrounds. Learn all about this distilling duo and the family values they bring to their business, the “community over competition” they’ve received from others in the local industry, and how their brand has developed pre-launch.

Voices of Indy

Hosted by local singer + songwriter Josh Gillespie, Voices of Indy is dedicated to giving you the opportunity to know Indianapolis musically, artistically, and theatrically.

Recent episodes:

  • Bobby Donnelly | Hear from this local solo musician who is also part of the band Huckleberry Funk. Bobby’s music doesn’t necessarily fit a genre, but definitely pulls from influences such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Mayer, and the Eagles. This podcast episode is loose, fun, and sometimes a little obscene.
  • Kate Oberreich | Hear from this Indianapolis-based artist working in multiple mediums including water media, cyanotype, embroidery, and collage. Kate’s work often explores themes + narratives associated with the concept of finding home and community, both literally and figuratively.

All of this podcast talk got us thinking — what if we had an INDYtoday podcast? Would you listen to it? Let us know.
