Local shops we love for Small Business Saturday

Indy is made up of so many wonderful small businesses. Here are a few our readers love in honor of Small Business Saturday.

INDYtoday: INDY_Francis + Fern Boutique Taylor Swift_SEPT24

Brush up on your Taylor trivia with this book from Francis + Fern.

Small Business Saturday, an initiative dedicated to celebrating and supporting small and locally-owned businesses + the impact they have in our communities, is on Saturday, Nov. 30.

The day falls between two of the biggest shopping days of the year — Black Friday and Cyber Monday — and has become an annual shopping tradition for many since its establishment by American Express in 2010.

If you’re looking to join in on the festivities this year, check out our list of some of City Editor Nicole + City Editor Shea’s favorite small businesses in town — and some extra suggestions from our followers.

  • Francis + Fern | Although it’s now known as the “Taylor Swift store,” you don’t have to be a Swiftie to love this shop on Mass Ave. City Editor Nicole loves coming here for cute charms, accessories, and good vibes.
  • Blue Mind Coffee | One of Nicole’s favorite local coffee shops is Blue Mind, not only for its delicious coffee and seasonal lattes, but for its dedication to helping the community with its “take what you need” donations located in the restrooms.
  • Half Moon Brow Studio | Extra self-care is a necessity during the holiday season for City Editor Shea. She loves getting a keratin lash lift here and shopping their selection of celestially-inspired beauty products.
  • Nexxus Movement | There is no more intense workout in the world than pole fitness. Shea loves taking classes from owner Jade — the studio also offers choreography and flexibility classes.

You can find Salt & Ash Soap Co. in person at markets throughout the city or at the storefront at 1006 Virginia Ave.

Looking for more spots for your shopping spree? Check out these small businesses our followers love:
