Guide to College Football Playoff weekend in Indianapolis

We’re counting down to kickoff. The thrill + excitement of the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship is coming to downtown Indy with a weekend full of events leading up to the big game scheduled on Mon., Jan. 10 at 8 p.m.

🏈 Sat., Jan. 8

Extra Yard for Teachers Summit | 8 a.m.-6 p.m. | NCAA Hall of Champions | Take part in the annual flagship event designed to empower + inspire educators with guest speakers, giveaways, networking experiences, and professional development.

Playoff Fan Central | Jan. 8-10 | 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (closes at 3 p.m. Sun.) | Free | This three-day interactive experience will include games, pep rallies, band performances, special guest appearances, autograph signings + exhibits.

AT&T Playoff Playlist Live! | 5-11 p.m. | Monument Circle | Free | See three-time Grammy nominee Doja Cat + indie pop trio AJR live downtown. Fans will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.

🏈 Sun., Jan. 9

Extra Yard 5K | 10 a.m. | Downtown Indianapolis | $35 | Join a family-friendly 3.1 mile run/walk hosted in conjunction with the national championship game. Proceeds will benefit the College Football Playoff Foundation’s Extra Yard for Teachers initiative.

Taste of the Championship | 5-8 p.m. | Indiana State Museum | $200 | Fine dine with this fundraising event + indulge in gourmet food and drink prepared by local chefs in support of the College Football Playoff Foundation.

AT&T Playoff Playlist Live! | 5-11 p.m. | Monument Circle | Free | See Grammy award-winning Twenty One Pilots + pop artist Ava Max live downtown. Fans will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.

🏈 Mon., Jan. 10

Allstate Championship Tailgate | 12-5 p.m. | Downtown | Free | Prior to kick-off, fans can enjoy outdoor entertainment at Championship Tailgate Plaza with activities + games, live ESPN broadcasts, and a pregame concert featuring Sam Hunt and Breland.

College Football Playoff National Championship | Mon., Jan. 10 | 8 p.m. | Lucas Oil Stadium | $425+ | College’s biggest game — Georgia vs. Alabama — comes to Indy. During the game, drones will take flight to create the world’s largest scoreboard.
