Imagination has the power to transform and inspire, which is the exact purpose of the newly imagined Downtown Dinner Theatre.

Two powerhouse nonprofits — The Murat Shrine of Indiana and On-Stage LIVE! Entertainment — have partnered to launch a groundbreaking fusion of upscale cuisine and live performance in the heart of Indianapolis.

Fittingly, this partnership kicks off with the inaugural show, “Imagination,” an electrifying celebration of musicality, creativity, and storytelling. Just as this production showcases the magic of dreaming big, Downtown Dinner Theatre embodies the visionary ambition of its founders — melding world-class entertainment with a delightful dining experience inside one of the city’s most iconic historic landmarks.

This isn’t just the start of a new entertainment venue; it’s the beginning of a cultural movement — one that honors artistry, community, and the power of possibility. Come be part of the excitement, indulge your senses, and let your imagination take center stage.

An unparalleled dining + theater experience

Set in the historic Murat Shrine Temple, Downtown Dinner Theatre blends fine dining with captivating live production events. Begin the evening with a handcrafted cocktail in the Oasis lounge before savoring an exquisite table-side service meal in the elegant Tunisian Room.

After dining, ascend to the grand Arabian Room theatre for a dazzling two-and-a-half-hour musical revue featuring top local and regional talent, stunning costumes, and breathtaking stage designs. Reserved seating ensures every guest has the perfect view of the magic on stage.

Grand opening special

For a limited time, attendees can snag an exclusive “Buy five, get one free” deal. Purchase a ticket to each of the first five productions and receive a free ticket to the “Holiday Magic” show. Pro tip: This offer is valid until May 2 and must be purchased through the Box Office by calling 317-635-2433 ext.190.
