POV: It’s a Monday. You’ve got plans to grab a bite with a friend. You arrive at the restaurant and it’s closed.

We can’t be the only ones who have been in this scenario. We love supporting local, and if you’re like us, you know it’s not uncommon for your favorite local spot to be closed on Mondays or Tuesdays — as those are typically the slower days.

To help you avoid being in this situation, here’s a list of local bars and restaurants that are open on Monday.

Bocca | 122 E. 22nd St. | Italian | Open 5-10 p.m. | City Editor Nicole is a fan of the bolognese. Pro tip: Check out the basement for speakeasy vibes.

Tinker Street | 402 E. 16th St. | American | Open 5-9 p.m. | The menu at this warm and upbeat spot changes frequently + supports local farmers by sourcing fresh farm-to-table ingredients.

The Ball & Biscuit | 331 Mass Ave. | Cocktail bar | Open 4 p.m-12 a.m. | Don’t want a Tuesday morning hangover? This spot also offers non-alcoholic drinks.
