The more you get involved with your community, the more likely you are to stay, according to IndyHub’s research.

This Thursday (Sept. 29), plant some roots at the 17th annual IndyVolved — a free networking event that showcases ways for Indy’s young leaders to get involved with the city. From 4:30-8 p.m., more than 100 organizations will table at Victory Field to engage with 20- and 30-somethings looking to join boards + committees and start volunteering their time.

Clint Breeze and The Groove, an improv group + other entertainment will give live performances and refreshments will available from Sip & Share Wines, Lumpia Creations, and other local vendors.

Pro tip: Come camera ready because you’ll be able to get your photo taken with a 360 camera at home plate.
