Here are seven rooftop spots in and around Indy where you can sit back, sip a cocktail, and take in the view.

Livery | 720 N. College Ave.

Mon.-Thurs., 4-10 p.m., Fri.-Sat., 4 p.m.-11 p.m. + Sun., 4-9 p.m.

Did you know this spot with Latin American flavors is in a restored 1890s building that once stabled horses? If you don’t make it to Livery this summer, don’t worry. The rooftop seating is open year-round.

Plat 99 | The Alexander, 333 S. Delaware St.

Mon.-Thurs., 5-10 p.m. + Fri.-Sat., 4 p.m.-12 a.m.

This newly updated space serves up local craft beers and a rotating cocktail menu that can be paired with house-made pastries and small plates. Pro tip: On Fri., July 8 from 6-8 p.m., it will be hosting a “Bubbles + Beats” party with a local DJ, surprise guests, and a special cocktail menu.

The Cannon Ball Lounge | Hotel Indy, 141 E. Washington St.

Mon.-Thurs., 4-11 p.m. + Fri.-Sat., 4 p.m.-1 a.m.

As one of Indy’s newest rooftop hangouts, the Cannon Ball Lounge has quickly risen to the top — it has something for everyone with a selection of mocktails + events to keep the party going. Pro tip: This Sunday from 5-11 p.m. it’s hosting a “Rooftop Vibes Day Party” with local DJs.

Pivot Bar and Balcony | Hyatt Place, 130 S. Pennsylvania St.

Mon.-Sat,. 4 p.m.-12 a.m.

Enjoy a chef-driven menu + craft cocktails with a view of the home of the Indianapolis Pacers. The 3,000-sqft balcony has fire pits, comfortable seating, and big-screen TVs. Pro tip: Visit on a Wednesday at 7 p.m. for trivia night.

Rooftop Garden Cocktail Lounge | 1105 Prospect St.

Every day, 6 p.m.

It’s the top tier view of the skyline for us — especially during sunset. This cocktail lounge on the top floor of the Fountain Square Theatre Building is open seasonally seven days a week, weather permitting. Pro tip: Guests under 21 and pets are not permitted + it does not accept reservations.

Mon.-Wed., 4 p.m.-12:30 a.m., Thurs., 4 p.m.-1:30 a.m., Fri., 4 p.m.-2:30 a.m., Sat., 12 p.m.-2:30 a.m. + Sun., 12 p.m.-12:30 a.m.

Throw some balls downstairs + then relax and stay a while on the upper level. This spot in the Bottleworks District is perfect for a group outing with drinks and old school entertainment. Pro tip: Have your ID handy — Pins is 21+ after 8 p.m.

3Up Rooftop Bar | 201 W. Main St., Carmel

Wed.-Thurs., 5-10 p.m. + Fri.-Sat., 5 p.m.-12 a.m.
