Indy’s biggest local dining event Devour is back for Winterfest starting on Mon., Jan. 24 through Sun., Feb. 6 — with more than 100 participating restaurants offering special three-course menus at a discounted price.

Not sure where to go or just want some recommendations? Here’s the top three restaurants on your city editors’ lists.

Nicole’s picks

The Hulman | 141 E. Washington St.

Nicole is eyeing the tacos al pastor for lunch or the berkshire pork loin for dinner. She had the avocado toast for brunch there + said it was the best she’s had.

Modita | 850 Mass Ave.
Nicole dined at Modita during the last Devour over the summer + it did not disappoint. For $30 per person, she recommends the hamachi sushi roll, tangerine chicken, and yuzu bar. She’s ready for round two.

Festiva | 1217 E. 16th St.

This authentic Mexican restaurant is offering 2 for $50 — including two sparkling palomas or two margaritas. Nicole is excited to try their chips + queso, tacos de carnitas, and churros.

Anna’s picks

Mama Carolla’s | 1031 E. 54th St.

It won’t be the first time Anna has taken advantage of this Italian Devour menu. She almost always gets the chicken rigatoni (perfect for those who like a little spice), but she’s planning to branch out this year.

Mimi Blue Meatballs | Mass Ave. or Keystone

It’s hard to believe Anna hasn’t stopped at this Mass Ave. staple. Its new Devour menu is the perfect excuse to try the famous meatballs + baked goat cheese and top it all off with some tiramisu.

Delicia | 5215 N. College Ave.

The chicken mole verde is looking pretty good right about now. Pair that with some sancocho (a rustic type of stew) + some tres leches cake, and that’s quite a meal.

Pro tip: Reservations are not required, but we recommend it during this event — especially if you plan to go on the weekend.
