Lace up, Indy. The Indy Ultimate, presented by the Indianapolis Foundation, is happening on Saturday, Sept. 9, with the start and finish lines located at the newly opened Bicentennial Unity Plaza at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Hoosiers are invited to walk, jog, or run their way through many of the city’s iconic venues, landmarks, and public spaces during this three-mile, family-friendly race. (Hint: It’s the best way to discover downtown.)

Along this year’s route, participants will also be able to run the bases at Victory Field, take a ride on the Handlebar, experience Olympic moments on the Circle, discover White River State Park, and more. Bonus: Food and drink samples, including Sun King beer and Tito’s Handmake Vodka, will be served along the route — because hydration is always key.

The fun doesn’t stop at the finish line. At the after party, participants can enjoy a complimentary beverage plus a chance to win tickets to this December’s Indy Classic.
