Ah ah ah ah stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive.

If the thought of resuscitating someone by applying chest compressions leaves you petrified, be like the Bee Gees and stick to 100-120 beats per minute.

But, if you’re interested in learning CPR and other first-aid skills in a more official capacity, here are some classes to check out around Indy.

Red Cross
This organization offers CPR, first-aid, and AED (automated external defibrillator) classes across many locations and times of day, plus online options available for $37.

The American Heart Association
Whether you need to renew your certification or are learning BLS (basic life support) for the first time, you can join lessons in-person or set your own schedule through a blend of hands-on training and online learning.
